Jack and the Beanstalk

As you may already know, I absolutely love fairy tales. Throughout the year I enjoy focusing on different fairy tales and doing lots of different activities related to each fairy tale. There are so many skills that can be worked on in just one story. The fairy tales that I do throughout the year are Three Billy Goats Gruff, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood.

This year I will also include the fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk. This is my newest fairy tale unit and I am so excited for all of the fun with the reading, writing, and math activities. There are lots of crafts and games too!

Here is a peek at the some of the activities included in this Jack and the Beanstalk Unit:

Literacy Activities
Making Predictions during the reading.

Interactive Story Elements Book for Students.

Acting out the story

Build a Castle with Shapes. Use your imagination to build the castle anyway that you like.

To celebrate all of the hard work, some magic beans are well deserved!!
