Mother's Day and FREEBIES!

I can remember when I was little how incredibly exciting it was to make gifts for my mom and dad. I remember how proud I was of my hard word and all of the love I put into my projects. I remember especially how excited I was to surprise my mom with my project for her on Mother's Day!

With all the craziness going on during this time of year, it is so nice to take some time to have the students work on something that is so special to them and to their families. I am so excited to share with you a fun Mother's Day Project!

This project is a Mother's Day 3D Craft and Card. 

Students get to make a 3D flower craft for the front of the card. Then they will get to fill the card with one or two of the many different Mother’s Day activities that will truly make the card special!

*I have also included versions for Mum, Grandma, and Aunt too!*

There are two different 3D flower craft templates that you can choose from for the front of the card.


There are 4 different card insert activities to choose from as well. You can place 1 or 2 of these activities inside of the card. Here are the different insert activities:
o   ‘5 Things I Love About My Mom’
o   Draw a Picture
o   Write a Letter
o   ‘All About Mom’ Questionnaire 


These card inserts range in levels of difficulty and there are tons to choose from! 
(Each activity has both the word 'Mom' and 'Mum' included.)

Hi everyone! I just want to say thank you to everyone who has come to check out my blog and to all my followers. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it and for all of your support! Scarecrows- Part Two!

I can't believe this week marked the end of the first quarter!! It has gone by so fast! This week was a 4 day week with my students and we had our inservice/report cards on Friday. We ended the first quarter with part 2 of my Scarecrow Unit ! What a fun and busy week we had! We had a blast continuing our Scarecrow Unit with lots more math and literacy activities. We practiced tracing, writing, and finding the number 7. Then we rainbow wrote the number 7 and filled the other one in with crows :) We had lots of fun being crows, but got a little mixed up. Little Red Riding Hood

One of my favorite units during the year are my Fairy Tale Units. I just love reading the classic fairy tales that I remember my teacher reading to me when I was younger! I have a few fairy tale units that I have made, but knew I wanted to make more! Little Red Riding Hood was one of the next fairy tales that I knew I wanted to work with! I am so excited to share with you that I have just finished the Little Red Riding Hood Unit ! The activities included in this unit are hands-on, interactive, and lots of fun!
